Abayomi Makinde is a graduate of Agric Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye, he started his career with a Financial Consulting Firm(Abayomi Dosunmu an Co Chartered Accountant) as an Audit Officer in 2011 and he rose to the level of an Audit senior, performing several consulting activities for different businesses across the economic strata of the country, e.g. city code finance, NNPC retail, STACO, Infinity Snacks, insurance, LASACO insurance, before he left the Institution to Join Page Microfinance Bank which metamorphosized into Page International Financial Service Limited, he joined page as an Assistant banking officer and rose to become the deputy head of Internal Audit and Compliance( Assistant Manager level),

Abayomi was instrumental in setting up the Internal Audit control and Compliance structure for the company and consistently assisted the business towards profitability and growth, before joining Addosser Finance as the Head of Internal Audit and Compliance.

Abayomi Makinde developed and managed the Internal audit structure of the company during his stay and made a good and objective representation of the business to its board of directors through the Board Risk and Audit Committee. He also maintained and coordinated all regulatory activities for the company

Abayomi Joined Carbon Finance and Investment Limited in 2022 as the head of Internal Audit and The Chief compliance officer, where he managed all Audit, control, and Compliance functions of the company at the group level.

Abayomi Makinde Joined e-Barcs Microfinance Bank In August 2023 as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Digital Products, and he currently oversees the Risk Management and product creation function of the bank to date.
