Mr. Chinedu Ekeocha

Chinedu Ekeocha is a Banking and Finance graduate with an MBA (Financial Management) degree from Lagos State University, who has worked both in the Banking and Pension Industry. His experience covers Business Development, Product Development, Retail Banking, Banking Operations, Payment Cards and Alternative Delivery Channels, Strategy formulation and implementation.

His last portfolio in NOVA MBL was Group Head in charge of Financial Institutions Fintech businesses and relationships. This entailed growing businesses of bank and non-bank financial institutions such as mortgage institutions, Pension Fund Administrators, leasing companies, finance and micro finance banks, while focus was also on FinTech's providing collections, payments, micro lending, medical solutions to corporates and SMEs.

Prior to last role, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) overseeing Operations (Domestic & International), Information Technology, Human Capital Management, Internal Control, Credit Administration, Corporate Services and Corporate Communications functions.

Also, Chinedu spent 7 years in the Nigerian Pension Industry as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of Diamond Pension Fund Custodian Limited, a subsidiary of Diamond Bank Plc and was a member of the committee that onboarded the Micro Pensions proposition for the industry.

His other roles and experiences are - Team Lead, Operations Work Stream - Project Sparkle (An Organizational Change Project); Group Head, Cards and Channels; Head, Branch Operations Services; Head, Operations Diamond Pension Fund Custodian Ltd; Branch Business Manager; Head, Transaction Banking; Head of Operations.

He has strong interest in Leadership, Strategy Development and Execution, and Mentoring, Service Delivery.
